New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel

Kaimana Beach Hotel sits on Waikīkī's "Gold Coast" along Queen Kapiʻolani Park, where the beachfront meets the base of Diamond Head. The property has occupied this stretch of oceanfront since 1963, built on grounds with roots going back to a family estate from 1903 — grounds that once drew Hawaiian royalty and, famously, novelist Robert Louis Stevenson, who found inspiration beneath the hau tree grove that still lends its name to the hotel's signature restaurant. The hotel offers three distinct event spaces, each with direct views of the Pacific. The Kaimana Ballroom, the largest, accommodates up to 120 guests and connects to an oceanfront lānai. The Kapua Lounge is an intimate setting suited to rehearsal dinners and small gatherings of up to 30. The Hale Hau is a private oceanfront dining room for up to 18. The Hau Tree Restaurant can host seated events of up to 150 in an open-air, beachside setting beneath a canopy of trees. All event spaces include high-speed WiFi, a SONOS sound system, and in-house catering. The hotel's events team works with groups to build personalized programs in place of standard packages.
