Newton White Mansion

Newton White Mansion is a Neo-Georgian estate built in 1939 by architect William Lawrence Bottomley for Captain Newton H. White of the U.S. Navy. Set in Mitchellville, Maryland, adjacent to the 586-acre Enterprise Golf Course, the mansion combines historic architecture with a glass-enclosed contemporary atrium — a pairing that makes it well suited for both formal and celebratory events. The mansion accommodates up to 240 guests seated and 300 standing across six large rooms, two side porches, and the glass atrium, which overlooks the 13th hole of the golf course. A large brick patio with a central fountain, surrounded by lush gardens and woodlands, hosts outdoor gatherings of up to 200 guests. The venue is managed by Prince George's County Department of Parks and Recreation and is available year-round for weddings, corporate meetings, retreats, holiday parties, milestone anniversaries, and similar events. On-site amenities include a warming kitchen, complimentary parking, wheelchair accessibility, and wireless connectivity with audiovisual equipment.
