Noerenberg Gardens

Noerenberg Memorial Gardens sits on the shore of Crystal Bay along Lake Minnetonka in Wayzata, Minnesota, and is widely regarded as one of the finest formal gardens in the state. The grounds trace back to the 1890 estate of the founder of Grain Belt Brewery, later converted to a public park in 1972 and now managed by Three Rivers Park District. Accessible brick pathways wind through plantings of perennials, annuals, ornamental shade trees, conifers, and Northern Lights azaleas, leading to a lakeside ornamental gazebo with views over the water. The gardens are available for weddings, photography sessions, and special events. The donation terms governing the property prohibit food, beverages, and pets on the grounds.
