NorthRiver Yacht Club

The Westerfield Club is a lakeside private golf, swim, and social club spanning 200 acres along the banks of Lake Tuscaloosa in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Founded in 1978, the club was established by Tuscaloosa philanthropist Jack Warner and is now undergoing a comprehensive transformation that reimagines its facilities while honoring the traditions that have defined it for generations. The club offers an array of gathering spaces suited for private events, social occasions, and member dining. The Great Room anchors daily club life with a full-service bar, an 85-seat white-tablecloth restaurant, and an adjoining fireplace lounge. The Library and Billiards Room provides an intimate, wood-paneled setting for quiet gatherings, while an outdoor covered terrace offers an easy transition between interior spaces and the surrounding landscape. The golf practice grounds include a covered outdoor terrace with a wood-burning fireplace and catering kitchen, designed to host informal club events and private gatherings overlooking the course. Beyond its event facilities, The Westerfield Club features a Gary Player-designed 18-hole course, resort-style aquatics including an 11,500-square-foot pool complex, racquet sports, fitness amenities, and a marina. The club is located at 3100 Yacht Club Way NE, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and accepts inquiries through its membership team.
