Events Ondine, located above the San Francisco Bay, is a one-of-a-kind location with a long history. Built in 1898 as the original San Francisco Yacht Club, the site was known for galas, yacht races, and regattas throughout the early 1920s. It was renovated into Ondine Restaurant in 1959, a renowned celebrity hangout where Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, and Paul Newman dined. Ondine, the present form, opened in 2002 as a sophisticated waterfront private dining venue with a classic San Francisco skyline and Bay views from the deck and every aspect within. Ondine provides full-service events for groups of up to 200 persons.
