Otium offers event spaces for your next celebration in Los Angeles, California. Otium is a restaurant that removes the formalities of dining and instead focuses on the quality of the food, the warmth of the service, and the relaxed casual atmosphere. With an open kitchen that connects the indoor and outdoor spaces, it is intended to be a social gathering place. The name of the restaurant, Otium, has its origins in Latin and is intended to convey the idea of a place where time can be spent engaging in leisurely social activities. With options ranging from intimate dinners on our mezzanine to large gatherings on the plaza, as well as off-site catering, we are happy to personalize the experience for you and your guests. It's on the patio. Our patio has a view of the grassy park that we share with The Broad Museum of Contemporary Art. On the Broad side of the patio, there is a gas fire pit as well as lounge seating for guests. On the other end of the patio, there is a wood-fired rotisserie with seating for a full-service dinner. Guests can reserve either side of the patio, or they can request a complete patio buyout.
