Palos Verdes Art Center

Palos Verdes Art Center, also known as the Beverly G. Alpay Center for Arts Education, is a community arts organization situated atop the Palos Verdes Peninsula in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. Set within a facility featuring an expansive, glass-ceilinged Atrium and surrounding art galleries, the center offers a distinctive backdrop for events ranging from intimate business meetings to full wedding receptions, formal dinners, and holiday parties. The Atrium and galleries provide flexible event space that can be configured for a range of gatherings. Rental fees directly support the center's ongoing art exhibitions, educational programming, and community outreach initiatives — including school artist residencies, the Wessel Photography Program, and Art At Your Fingertips. Palos Verdes Art Center is home to seven active artist groups and hosts year-round exhibitions alongside private events, creating an environment where art and celebration share the same space.
