Patent Pending

Patent Pending is located in the cellar of the Radio Wave Building, a New York City landmark building where Nikola Tesla lived and performed his experiments in the late 19th century. Patent Pending provides an intimate private event experience that embodies aspects of both a discreet speakeasy and upscale cocktail club. Once here, your private party will be transported into the back bar, with a lovely, low-ceiling, mirrored foyer for eight (3 stools), five banquettes to seat up to twenty-two, and nine bar stools. Behind another hidden archway, The Lab at Patent Pending awaits with a large booth for ten, another booth for twelve, a dance floor and five bar seats. Food will be served in the cafe up front, and the entire space both front and back can be yours. For groups of 12 or more, The Lab can be yours either privately or shared. For parties of 40 or under, The Lab can be yours privately. For parties of 40+ we offer all of Patent Pending and The Lab. For parties of 100+ we offer Patent Pending, The Lab, seeyamañana and seeyabajo combined for a lively event. Our cocktails have been expertly curated by industry veterans of Dead Rabbit and BlackTail, and we’ve worked meticulously in our selection of spirits, design aesthetics and unwavering attention to service and hospitality.
