Petroleum Club of Lafayette

Founded in 1953, the Petroleum Club of Lafayette is a member-owned private dining and social club situated in the heart of Lafayette's Oil Center district. One of Louisiana's oldest private clubs, it has built a decades-long reputation on excellent food, attentive service, and a warm atmosphere that balances professional polish with a genuine sense of welcome. The facility spans over 55,000 square feet with 15 configurable rooms, giving event planners broad flexibility across gatherings of varying sizes — from intimate business dinners to full wedding receptions and banquets. An award-winning culinary staff handles menu planning in-house, and a dedicated catering sales team works with clients through every detail of room setup and décor. The club's combination of established culinary tradition, adaptable private spaces, and a central Oil Center location makes it a distinctive choice for celebrations and corporate events in Lafayette.
