Pine Lake Country Club

Pine Lake Country Club is a full-service private club established in 1952 on 157 acres in the Mint Hill area of Charlotte, North Carolina. Originally founded as Columbia Country Club, it adopted its current name in 1960 and has grown from a nine-hole layout into a comprehensive recreational and social community. The club's 18-hole championship course — recently redesigned by architect Jeff Lawrence and Aspen Golf — anchors the property. Complementing the golf are six LED-lighted Har-Tru clay courts, a Master Series hard court, four pickleball courts, and a Junior Olympic-size pool complex with a Z-shaped design, 11-foot water slide, and children's wading area. A recently renovated fitness center with a wraparound porch completes the athletic campus. Dining is led by Executive Chef Shay Holmes across multiple venues, ranging from casual fare to a members-only lounge with handcrafted cocktails and a curated menu. The clubhouse and grounds host a full calendar of club events — holiday celebrations, seasonal gatherings — as well as private member-sponsored events accommodating various group sizes.
