PlumpJack Inn sits at the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Olympic Valley, California, steps from the ski lifts of Palisades Tahoe. Originally built in 1960 to house the Winter Olympic delegation during the Squaw Valley Games, the inn has since grown into a 56-room mountain lodge that pairs the character of its historic bones with the comfort and amenities of a full-service resort. The inn offers approximately 6,000 square feet of meeting and private event space across two connected indoor ballrooms and a pair of outdoor patios, accommodating groups of 10 to 200 seated guests or up to 400 for cocktail receptions and standing events. The split-level facility features large windows framing views of the surrounding peaks throughout. PlumpJack Inn's in-house events team manages the full scope of private gatherings — from destination weddings and rehearsal dinners to corporate retreats and milestone celebrations — with on-site catering, a dedicated coordinator, and a full complement of tables, linens, and rental items included with event packages.
