Point San Luis Lighthouse

Point San Luis Lighthouse is a nationally registered historic site set on 30 secluded acres along the Central Coast of California, overlooking San Luis Bay in Avila Beach. The lighthouse station was constructed between 1889 and 1890 and served as the beacon over San Luis Bay for more than 130 years. Today, the property is operated by the Point San Luis Lighthouse Keepers, a nonprofit dedicated to restoration and public programming. The lighthouse grounds accommodate private events for up to 100 guests, with ceremonies held on a private bluff offering panoramic ocean views, native trees, and the backdrop of the historic Victorian-era keeper's structures. Reception spaces are available at multiple locations elsewhere on the property. The setting is reached via docent-led van transport along a coastal road, making for a memorable arrival for guests. In addition to weddings and private celebrations, the venue hosts an annual outdoor concert series and educational programs on its 30-acre property. Beer and wine service is permitted; all vendor selections are coordinated through the lighthouse's preferred vendor list.
