Priam Vineyards

Priam Vineyards is a 40-acre farm winery in Colchester, Connecticut, established in 1998 and licensed as a farm winery in 2002. Set on a hilltop with sweeping views of 35 miles of New England countryside, the vineyard sits just 15 miles from Long Island Sound on terrain whose gravelly soil and climate bear comparison to the Graves region of France and the Alsatian corridor. The vineyard has been voted Connecticut Winery of the Year five consecutive years. The property hosts weddings and private events across two distinct settings. Bluebird Pasture, an outdoor tented venue, accommodates up to 300 guests for ceremonies and receptions from May through October and includes a 6,500-square-foot reception tent, catering tent, dance floor, bridal suite, fire pit, and air-conditioned restroom facilities. The Tasting Room offers a more intimate indoor option for gatherings of 30 to 65 guests year-round, with access to the outdoor patio in summer months. Both spaces are served by Priam's own award-winning wines. Priam Vineyards was the first winery in New England to operate entirely on solar power and is certified by the National Wildlife Federation as a natural bird and wildlife habitat.
