Quinta Mazatlan

Quinta Mazatlán is a historic Spanish Revival-style mansion and urban nature sanctuary in McAllen, Texas, set among gardens, walking trails, and towering palms in the Tamaulipan Brushland of the Lower Rio Grande Valley. Opened in 2006 and owned by the City of McAllen, the estate pairs a 1930s adobe home with the surrounding sanctuary's birding trails and native plant gardens. For private events, Quinta Mazatlán offers a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces across the estate, from the mansion's Talavera-tile-arched Grand Hall to a courtyard strung with bistro lights and centered on a pergola and water feature. Spaces range from an intimate Art Gallery suite for around 20 guests to the Front Lawn and Courtyard, which can host up to 300 to 350 guests for cocktail receptions and seated weddings. Event planners can also book the Entire Estate, combining the Front Lawn, Grand Hall, Art Gallery, Cottage, Courtyard, and South Oak into a single Spanish Revival-style setting surrounded by gardens.
