Red Barn Events

Red Barn Events is a family-owned wedding and event venue set on Beechwood Acres Farm, a historic property on over 60 acres in Waxhaw, North Carolina. The farm traces its roots to 1971, and the barn — once home to cattle and horses — was converted into an event space in 2013, when owners Doug and Christi Hearne hosted their first wedding on the family's childhood homestead. The venue hosts weddings, social gatherings, and business outings, drawing on the property's seclusion and expansive grounds. With more than 60 acres, there is ample room for parking, larger events, and photographs across varied backdrops. The Hearnes built Red Barn Events on a commitment to quality, memorable, and affordable celebrations, and they are known for giving clients the kind of personal attention that comes with a family-run operation.
