Reid Park Zoo

Reid Park Zoo is a 24-acre zoological park located at 3400 Zoo Court in Tucson, Arizona. Established in 1965, the zoo has grown from a modest collection into an accredited facility — recognized by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) — that welcomes more than 500,000 visitors each year. The zoo's mission centers on connecting people with animals and inspiring the protection of wild animals and wild places worldwide. Private events at Reid Park Zoo offer an alternative to traditional banquet venues, placing guests among naturalistic animal habitats. After-hours rentals allow exclusive access to the grounds once the zoo closes to the public, typically from approximately 4:30 pm onward. The CLC Deck and Meeting Room are also available during regular zoo operating hours for daytime gatherings. Supported event types include weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, family reunions, and holiday parties. The zoo partners with Craft Culinary for on-site catering, with regular and seasonal menus available. Add-on experiences such as giraffe feedings can be arranged through the events department. Entertainment and live bands are permitted with advance approval and a pre-event facilities walkthrough.
