Rockcraft Lodge

Rockcraft Lodge is a historic lakeside estate built in 1916 on 100 acres along the western shore of Sebago Lake in East Sebago, Maine. The property features 850 feet of lake frontage on Maine's second-largest lake, offering a waterfront setting that has defined the estate for over a century. The main lodge was constructed with local carpenters and more than 30 skilled Italian masons, and it remains notable for its great room fireplaces, which were personally designed by original owner Dorothy Spaulding, with each stone selected and specified by hand. A stone mausoleum, century-old rhododendrons, a carriage house, and a boathouse round out the historic grounds. After nearly five decades as a church conference center, the property was purchased in 2011 and restored to its original character. Today Rockcraft Lodge hosts fundraisers and private gatherings, offering a one-of-a-kind lakeside setting on a property that has served its community for more than a hundred years.
