Rose House - Red Butte Garden

The Martha Ann Healy Rose House sits within Red Butte Garden, the University of Utah's botanical garden and arboretum in the foothills above Salt Lake City. The glass-walled pavilion opens through telescoping doors onto a shaded patio with views of the Wasatch foothills, and adjoins the Ring Garden, where rose trellises and seasonal plantings create a quiet setting for a cocktail hour or mid-event gathering. Just beyond, the Sara J. McCarthy and Family Rose Garden displays the Garden's vase rose collection, in bloom through summer and into early fall, and its Wedding Lawn is included as an optional outdoor ceremony site with a Rose House rental. The venue seats up to 80 guests, or 100 for an open house-style reception, with private restrooms, dressing rooms, a food preparation area, a built-in sound system, and dedicated vendor access. Rental pricing includes table and chair setup, garden admission for guests, parking, and event staff, with a TV, microphone, and photo easels available on request. The Rose House and Rose Garden are open for private events May through September.
