About San Diego Museum of Art
The San Diego Museum of Art is the oldest, largest, and most visited art museum in the region. The San Diego Museum of Art is a notable cultural resource, displaying works of art from all over the world, with an encyclopedic collection of more than 20,000 artifacts. The Museum, which is located in the heart of Balboa Park, is a unique destination where you can learn about San Diego's natural beauty, history, art, and culture. The Spanish Colonial-style building of the San Diego Museum of Art, which opened in 1926, was inspired by the 1915 Panama-California international exposition. Corporate events, private parties, weddings, seminars, and meetings can all be held in the Museum's indoor galleries and outdoor sculpture court and garden. The May S. Marcy Sculpture Garden is offered for private wedding ceremonies and is open to the public. The San Diego Museum of Art is pleased to announce a collaboration with PEP Creative to provide beautiful, stress-free interior and outdoor wedding ceremonies.
