San Marco Preservation Hall is a Jacksonville historic landmark originally built in 1888 as St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Relocated to Fletcher Park and renovated in 1994, the hall has earned Jacksonville Magazine's "Best Historic Venue" recognition every year from 2020 through 2023, along with multiple "Best in Bride" awards — a testament to its enduring appeal for celebrations of all kinds. The main hall offers a 20-by-40-foot open floor area with a 20-by-10-foot stage, accommodating up to 80 guests for weddings, showers, recitals, meetings, and private gatherings. The warm wood interior and serene Fletcher Park setting lend the space a character that newer venues rarely replicate. Adjacent to the hall, the Stockton Cottage — named for San Marco's original developer, Telfair Stockton — serves as a bride's room or staging area, adding flexibility for wedding-day logistics. The facility is ADA accessible and includes a caterer's kitchen with a refrigerator, deep sink, and electrical outlets, along with storage and bathroom facilities. Rentals are available Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
