Sanford Civic Center

Built in 1958, the Sanford Civic Center is an award-winning mid-century modern event facility situated on the Sanford Riverwalk along the shores of Lake Monroe in Sanford, Florida. The building's auditorium is distinguished by a dramatically arched ceiling constructed of wooden Glu-Lam beams, with fixed glass windows on both sides offering views of Lake Monroe's sunrises and sunsets. The facility has served as a hub for multicultural community activities and a meeting headquarters for civic clubs and organizations throughout the region. The Civic Center accommodates a wide range of private and public events, including weddings, galas, family reunions, meetings, and cultural celebrations. The auditorium is equipped with a large stage, full kitchen with ice machine, and a contemporary sound system. An annex space is available for smaller gatherings such as seminars, fundraisers, and expos. Renters may book the auditorium, the annex, or the entire building, with availability from 7 AM to 1 AM daily.
