Sapona Ridge Country Club

Sapona Golf Swim & Tennis Club is a full-service country club and event venue in Lexington, North Carolina, built around an 18-hole, par-71 golf course designed by golf architects Ellis Maples and Ed Say in 1968. Now operating as a semi-private club, the property describes itself as "Lexington's hometown club," welcoming members, families, and the public alike. The clubhouse hosts private events from intimate gatherings to large celebrations. The main ballroom seats up to 180 guests for dinners and 200 for receptions, with large windows looking out toward the course, chandelier lighting, and hardwood floors. Six additional private rooms each accommodate groups of up to 60 guests, suited for cocktail hours, showers, retreats, and corporate meetings. In-house catering is provided through the Sapona Grill, and the property can pair events with on-course golf activities including charity scrambles and corporate outings.
