Scotts Mill County Park

Scotts Mill County Park spans 110 acres in Scotts, Michigan, and has served Kalamazoo County since 1976, when it opened as the county's Bi-Centennial Project. At the heart of the park stands a historic 1870s water-powered mill and adjacent pond, set within natural landscape that also includes hiking trails, fishing areas, and a playground. For private events, the park offers the Gregersen Picnic Shelter, equipped with a grill, electricity, water, and modern restrooms — a practical setting for family gatherings, company picnics, and school outings. Wedding packages are available for both ceremonies and receptions, with the mill, pond, and surrounding landscape serving as an outdoor backdrop well suited to celebration. Reservations are accepted by phone beginning on the first business day of January each year.
