Sea Trail Resort

Sea Trail Golf Resort is a destination event venue set on 2,000 acres in Sunset Beach, North Carolina, offering more than 40,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space across its convention center and Jones Byrd Clubhouse. The convention center's Grand Ballroom spans 10,146 square feet with decorative arched doorways, a restored hardwood dance floor, and elegant chandeliers — accommodating up to 400 seated guests for a banquet or 1,000 for a reception. The adjacent Promenade, a sunlit gallery with a wall of arched doors, leads directly to the outdoor Piazza overlooking a garden, pond, and gazebo. Private dining rooms and the 55 Bistro Bar round out the options for rehearsal dinners, welcome receptions, and smaller celebrations. On-site amenities include Sawmill Townhomes and villa accommodations, four distinct dining venues, and 54 holes of championship golf across the Byrd, Jones, and Maples courses — supporting multi-day wedding weekends and corporate group stays alike. The resort's events team handles catering, coordination, and logistics from planning through event day.
