Senate's End by Dupre Catering

Senate's End sits between a wooded ravine and the Congaree River in Columbia's Vista district, overlooking the historic Gervais Street Bridge. Once home to the Sterling Garden Center, the property today comprises three distinct event buildings — The Hall, 300 Senate, and 302 Senate — alongside two adjacent outdoor wedding gardens with cobblestone aisles and a forest backdrop. Each building opens onto its own deck or patio, giving couples the option of an indoor/outdoor ceremony and reception experience, and bridal packages are available for those pairing an outdoor wedding with an indoor reception. Dupre Catering & Events provides exclusive, in-house full-service catering for every venue on the property, supplying food, drinks, bar service, tables, chairs, and servers as part of the planning. Dupre Catering itself was established in 1989 by Columbia native Dupre Percival, who built the business around his passion for food and hospitality before expanding it into the Senate's End venue campus. The company remains family-run, now led alongside his son and partner Bob Percival, and has hosted weddings, galas, corporate events, and life celebrations in the Midlands for more than three decades.
