Serendipity Event Center at Beagle Ridge sits in a secluded valley in the Blue Ridge Mountains near Wytheville, Virginia, surrounded by gardens, a pond, woods, and hiking trails. The property also includes the Flying Flowers butterfly house, which couples can tour or use as a backdrop for wedding photos. The center hosts both outdoor and indoor weddings and receptions. Outdoor ceremonies can take place in the gardens, by the pond, or in an open field with the woods as a backdrop, with a permanent garden tent seating 50 guests; a temporary tent can also be arranged in the field for larger gatherings. Indoors, Serendipity provides tables and chairs, a full kitchen, and a well-appointed upstairs room where a bridal party can dress and relax before the ceremony. A rehearsal dinner in the gardens the evening before the wedding can also be arranged. Beyond weddings, Serendipity is available for meetings, trainings, and parties, with audio-video equipment, a 70-inch TV, breakout rooms upstairs, an outdoor deck, and access to the gardens and trails, including guided hikes on request.
