Within these walls, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson, Merle Haggard, Tammy Wynette, and B.J. Thomas made music with the guidance of legendary producer Chips Moman. Songs like Highwayman, Pancho and Lefty, Always on my Mind, Hooked on a feeling, Mama’s Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys, Another somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song, Good Ol’ Boys (Dukes of Hazzard Theme), and more were recorded here. Today, Seventh Story Studio + Events continues that creative tradition.
