Shotgun Ceremonies is a Vegas style Wedding Chapel located in the heart of Pioneer Square. Our fun and personalized ceremony is unique to you. Feel free to bring your friends, family, music, vows, rings, cameras (outside photographers always welcome).....and even your pets if you'd like to. Or just the two of you can come in and elope in our Seattle Wedding Chapel....we'll even provide witnesses! Already have a different location in mind? We can also come to you to perform your one-of-a-kind wedding ceremony. How much does a Shotgun Ceremonies wedding cost?: Pricing varies by service type. Standard weddings start at $500, with a $200 deposit and $300 due day-of. Elvis weddings are $750, and pub crawl weddings are $575. Off-site ceremonies within Seattle are $500, with added fees beyond 15 miles. Witness fees are $100 per witness for private residences. Incarcerated or immigration center weddings are $400. Vow renewals range from $375-$400 depending on location.
How soon can we get married in Washington?: Washington requires a 3-day waiting period after purchasing a marriage license, and the license remains valid for 60 days. Couples who already have their license in hand can marry the same day.
How far in advance should I book?: Shotgun Ceremonies books weddings up to 90 days in advance. Same-day ceremonies typically need 2-3 hours' notice, though availability isn't guaranteed, so advance booking is recommended.
What info do you need to book?: Booking requires both partners' names, a preferred date and time, marriage license status, witness needs, guest count, contact details, and a list of 3-4 preferred songs for the ceremony playlist.
Where/how do I apply for a Washington State marriage license?: Couples apply for a marriage license at their county recorder's office. King County applicants can apply online with an in-person follow-up, or fully in person at 201 S. Jackson St., Ste. 204, Seattle, WA 98104. Only one partner needs to appear in person, and a mandatory 3-day waiting period follows payment.
