Sky Valley Country Club

Sky Valley Country Club occupies a 13,000-square-foot clubhouse in the Blue Ridge Mountains at the Georgia-North Carolina border, sitting at an elevation of roughly 3,600 to 4,200 feet. Opened in June 2013, the clubhouse offers what the club describes as rustic elegance — a dining room with high ceilings, ambient lighting, and a floor-to-ceiling fireplace overlooking Lake McClure and the 18th fairway. The setting places guests less than 15 miles from Highlands, NC and under two hours from Atlanta. The clubhouse holds up to 150 guests for a seated dinner or 200 for a strolling reception, with a private dining room, a slightly smaller Club Room, and a meeting room for groups up to 75. A covered outdoor pavilion located about 100 yards from the clubhouse provides an additional gathering option against a backdrop of mountain scenery. The events team works with seasonal ingredients from Rabun County and builds customized menus for each occasion, from rehearsal dinners and bridal luncheons to full wedding receptions and corporate gatherings.
