Stallion Oaks Ranch

Stallion Oaks Ranch is a 238-acre event and retreat property nestled among ancient oaks, seasonal creeks, and wildlife in Descanso, California, about 45 minutes from downtown San Diego. Set against the natural backdrop of the Cleveland National Forest foothills, the ranch offers a secluded yet accessible setting for weddings, retreats, community gatherings, and camping getaways. The property's signature event space is a large rustic meeting hall reminiscent of a classic barn, centered around a massive stone fireplace and accommodating up to 200 guests for banquet-style receptions or 200 in theater-style seating. Outdoor ceremonies take place beneath towering shade trees or at two hillside gazebos with valley-to-ocean views, with the grounds capable of hosting up to 300 guests. Overnight accommodations — including a two-bedroom ranch cabin, furnished yurts, and tent sites — allow guests to extend their celebration into a full weekend retreat. The ranch operates on a bring-your-own catering model, with vendor referrals available, and a natural labyrinth on the grounds serves as a distinctive setting for cocktail hours and pre-ceremony gatherings.
