Stewartfield

Stewartfield is a Greek Revival raised cottage resting on the western edge of Spring Hill College's campus in Mobile, Alabama. The property offers a captivating view down the century-old Avenue of the Oaks, one of Mobile's historic landmarks. Inside, a long and spacious entrance hall welcomes guests and connects the primary entertainment rooms at the front and rear of the home. The stately semi-circular ballroom at the rear serves as the largest formal dining and reception area, tastefully decorated with period antiques — including a massive square piano and portraits of religious leaders associated with the College. Outdoors, a beautifully landscaped patio features iron tables and chairs, a decorative fountain, and electrical access for music or a caterer's equipment. Stewartfield accommodates up to 350 guests and permits off-site catering, making it well suited for weddings, receptions, and private celebrations.
