Stonehearth Inn & Tavern

Stone Hearth Inn & Eatery is set in a Vermont farmhouse with roots dating back to the early 1800s, just outside Chester in the Green Mountains. The property combines eight individually named guest rooms with an on-site eatery and tavern, blending historic character with a relaxed country atmosphere. The eatery serves comfort-driven meals made from scratch in a garden-side setting, with weekly specials, fresh-baked breads and desserts, and a seasonal menu alongside beer and wine. The tavern side of the property has long served as a gathering spot for guests and locals alike. Beyond lodging and dining, the inn hosts weddings, celebrations, memorials, meetings, and retreats, with catering available on-site or elsewhere. Its private dining room and eatery provide settings for gatherings, with additional garden and patio spaces in development. The mix of historic architecture, a working eatery, and flexible event spaces makes the inn a destination for both a quiet Vermont getaway and a hosted celebration.
