Strawhouse Resorts

Strawhouse Resorts & Café sits along the Trinity River in Junction City, California, nestled at the edge of the Trinity Alps Wilderness Area. Known as the "Hidden Jewel on the Trinity River," the property has welcomed guests since 2001, offering an intimate backdrop of flowing water, colorful landscaped gardens, and lush green grass beneath an open sky. The resort accommodates events of up to 150 guests across an outdoor riverfront venue and an indoor lodge. The outdoor setting places ceremonies and receptions on a lush lawn with the Trinity River in full view, while the lodge provides a covered option for groups who prefer shelter or as a weather-contingency space. On-site accommodations — including river-view cottages, a glamping yurt, and RV sites — allow guests to extend their stay across the property. The Strawhouse Café, located on-site, roasts organic coffee and offers food service to complement events. The property is committed to sustainability and community values, with a portion of coffee sales supporting local volunteer fire departments.
