Located inside Houston's historic Esperson Building, the city's first skyscraper, Studio Eight08 is a 5,000+ square foot gallery and event space where the environment is part of what makes the night memorable. Rotating works by local and contemporary artists line the walls year-round, which means your event does not just happen here. It lives inside something that already has a point of view. The space was designed for people who care about how things look and feel. The track lighting system gives your planner and our team full control over atmosphere, from the soft warmth of a candlelit dinner to the dramatic wash of a milestone birthday reveal. The open floor plan is fully modular, which means your vision shapes the room rather than the other way around. We have hosted wedding receptions with long banquet tables dressed in white linen and florals, intimate birthday dinners with projected monograms on the gallery wall, cocktail receptions with guests moving freely between lounge areas and the bar, and celebrations of every milestone in between. The space holds all of it beautifully because it was built to transform. Inside, you will find a full-service bar with on-site staff, a professional DJ booth, a complete AV and sound system, a catering prep kitchen for your outside caterer, and ADA-accessible restrooms.
