The Old Firehouse & Police Museum is a historic firehall turned museum in Superior, Wisconsin, operated by Superior Historic Properties. The building served the Superior Fire Department from 1892 to 1982, and today it offers an authentic, immersive look into the history of firefighting and police work in the city and across the state. Visitors can see the original brass fire pole, explore historic firefighting and rescue equipment, and climb aboard the museum's "Mack" firetruck. Alongside its firefighting exhibits, the museum also showcases the history of the Superior Police Department, with displays of historic uniforms, badges, photographs, and equipment. The Old Firehouse & Police Museum is home to the State of Wisconsin Fire & Police Hall of Fame, honoring first responders from across Wisconsin. As the last turn-of-the-century firehouse in Superior, the landmark building also offers a distinctive setting for small ceremonies and photography.
