Tallahassee Garden Club

Founded in 1926, the Tallahassee Garden Club is a historic event venue set within the beautifully preserved Rutgers House, located in the heart of downtown Tallahassee. The property has earned the Tallahassee Democrat DEMO Award for best wedding venue in the region for two consecutive years, reflecting its standing as one of the area's most distinctive celebration spaces. The venue accommodates weddings, receptions, meetings, and private gatherings across a collection of interconnected indoor and outdoor spaces — including a ballroom with a stage, parlor, trophy room, sun room, dining room, kitchen, gazebo, deck, brick patio, and landscaped front lawn. Tables, chairs, and china are provided with every rental, and a private parking lot is available on-site. The full facility is available as a single venue hire, making it well suited for events that call for a historic, garden-framed setting steps from downtown.
