Tamayo by Chef Richard Sandoval has anchored Denver’s historic Larimer Square since 2001, drawing guests with a menu rooted in authentic Mexican cuisine — inspired by Sandoval’s abuela and shaped by his upbringing in Mexico City. The kitchen channels that heritage through bold, carefully crafted flavors, complemented by handcrafted margaritas and a collection of more than 100 tequilas and agave spirits. Set inside a landmark building steps from the heart of LoDo, Tamayo offers two distinct event spaces: a rooftop terrace with sweeping views of the Rocky Mountains and Denver’s skyline, and an intimate private dining room suited for smaller gatherings. The dedicated events team supports a range of formats — from live-action cooking stations and tasting dinners to interactive cocktail receptions — and works directly with guests to build custom menus and beverage packages for weddings, corporate events, social celebrations, and holiday parties.
