The Acorn Theater

The Acorn Center for the Performing Arts is an intimate, nonprofit theater housed in a restored historic featherbone factory in Three Oaks, Michigan — roughly 70 miles from downtown Chicago and 30 miles from South Bend. The building, which it shares with Journeyman Distillery and Staymaker restaurant, lends the space a distinctive industrial character, complemented by what the venue describes as outstanding acoustics and unusually close proximity between performers and the audience. Available for private rental, The Acorn accommodates concerts, theatrical productions, film screenings, meetings, seminars, album releases, and private parties for up to 300 guests. The space features a dance floor, a full bar with cocktails, an extensive beer list, and bar snacks, and is fully ADA accessible. Free public parking is available on streets and in lots throughout Three Oaks.
