The Alley

The Alley Charleston is a bowling and entertainment venue set in a 16,870-square-foot warehouse space along Charleston's Upper King Street corridor. Eight lanes of retro bowling anchor the room, alongside basketball, ping-pong, Skee-Ball, pinball, and vintage arcade games, making it a natural fit for groups looking to mix a party with activities rather than sit through a standard reception. A 40-foot bar crafted from a reclaimed bowling lane runs through the space, and Home Team Kitchen operates a 150-seat restaurant on site, so food and drink are handled in-house. Two large projection screens and multiple TVs round out the room for game-day gatherings and watch parties. Event space is flexible enough for groups of 10 to 400, including a 1,900-square-foot mezzanine lounge for private parties above the main floor. The Alley also describes itself as committed to being part of the Charleston community it operates in.
