The Argyle is a cocktail lounge in Chelsea from Bar Director Chris Figueroa (Overstory, Crown Shy, SAGA), Chef India Doris (SAGA), and restaurateur Alex Pfaffenbach (Eleven Madison Park, Quality Branded). Located beneath Markette, the lounge showcases Figueroa’s inventive, nostalgia-inspired cocktail program, featuring playful shaken creations, refreshing spritzes, and complex stirred classics, with highlights like a PB & J Sazerac and the rum- and seaweed-spiked Salty Elvis. The menu of elevated sandwiches, small bites, and shareable snacks reflects Chef India’s Caribbean heritage and European training, with dishes such as a jerk short rib sandwich on housemade coco bread, a fried fish sandwich with Calabrian chile tartar sauce, and signature Markette favorites like Salt Cod Fritters.
