The Ballroom

The Ballroom, which opened in 1990 as a private dance studio, is one of the area's best-kept secrets. This lovely event venue, housed in a refurbished building, includes classical architectural design elements and subtle, discreet conventional furnishings, making it a standout venue in the Washington metro area. The Ballroom, located at the junction of Bethesda and Chevy Chase, just off River Road, is excellent for a variety of activities. It can comfortably seat 250 people for a seated event, with space for dancing and an unimpeded view of the entire ballroom. It has a magnificent entryway, parlor, reception room with fireplace, and private dining room. It is fully air-conditioned and elegantly designed. Waterford chandeliers, Palladian mirror windows, a fully integrated sound system, and gorgeous hardwood floors add to the elegance of the space.
