The Bar W Ranch

The Bar W Guest Ranch sits at the base of Spencer Mountain in western Montana, five miles west of Whitefish and approximately 25 minutes from Glacier Park International Airport. Pine-covered ridges surround the property, which encompasses Spencer Lake, a private trout pond, and a landscaped outdoor arena among its defining natural features. The ranch's 6,200-square-foot Main Lodge anchors the property and is joined by Original Cabin Suites, New Cabin Suites, glamping tents overlooking the meadow, and covered wagon accommodations — together creating a layered, self-contained setting. A 136-by-232-foot outdoor arena, a lakeside gazebo, and a ridgeline campfire site at Glacier View Ridge round out the gathering spaces, with Glacier National Park visible from the ridge. Activities available on the property include horseback riding, cattle drives, fly fishing, 3D archery, hatchet throwing, wagon rides, kayaking, paddleboarding, and evening programs including line dancing and rodeo events.
