The Barn at Monterey Valley is a family-owned event venue set on 80 private acres in Monterey Township, Michigan, halfway between Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo. The property is a former fruit farm that has been in the Dendel family for over 150 years, and its rolling hills and manicured grounds provide the backdrop for weddings and private celebrations held on weekends from late April through October. The venue accommodates up to 200 guests across both outdoor and indoor ceremony sites, with the indoor option available as a seamless weather contingency. Dedicated getting-ready spaces — the Pond House for the wedding party and a private Grooms Room — keep the event day organized from the start. Guests can explore the property's outdoor fireplace with fieldstone seating, a repurposed barrel outdoor bar, and a stocked catch-and-release fishing pond. Tables and chairs are included with every rental, along with a curated collection of décor — table numbers, signs, card boxes, cake stands, and chalkboards — available at no additional charge.
