The Bootlegger Italian Bistro is a fourth-generation, family-owned restaurant and private event venue on Las Vegas's South Strip with a history stretching back to 1949. The Perry family traces its story to Luigi Zoia, an Italian immigrant who earned the nickname "The Bootlegger" during Prohibition for serving homemade wine at his Ontario boarding house. Maria and Al Perry brought the family's culinary tradition to Las Vegas in the 1940s, established their first Italian restaurant in 1949, and opened the current South Strip location in 2001. For private events, the bistro offers two dedicated rooms. The Vegas Room accommodates up to 45 guests in an intimate setting with a courtyard entrance. The Copa Room scales from 45 to 180 guests and is suited for weddings, receptions, anniversary dinners, and milestone celebrations. Both spaces draw on the kitchen's original family recipes and decades of Las Vegas hospitality.
