The CARD Center

The CARD Community Center and Creekside Rose Garden is a 12,337-square-foot event facility situated adjacent to Bidwell Park in Chico, California. Operated by the Chico Area Recreation and Park District, the venue offers both indoor and outdoor settings that make it a flexible choice for weddings, receptions, and community gatherings. The centerpiece is the Creekside Rose Garden, an outdoor and indoor reception space surrounded by more than 200 roses that accommodates up to 200 guests. A wood-floored multi-purpose hall serves as the main indoor space, supported by a caterer's kitchen, tables, chairs, and a PA system. Two smaller rooms — the Jeff Carter Room and the Arts & Crafts Room — add meeting and breakout capacity for groups ranging from 25 to 60. All wedding and event packages include the support of event attendants who handle setup, clearing of tables and chairs, ongoing maintenance, and post-event cleanup. The combination of park-adjacent grounds, rose garden views, and full-service staffing makes the CARD Community Center a practical and scenic option for events of all kinds.
