The Carriage House

The Carriage House is a Southern plantation-style event venue situated on 12 acres of private property in Gonzales, Louisiana, within Ascension Parish. Set amid manicured gardens with a string-lit gazebo, a fountain-accented back porch, and mature landscaping, the grounds offer a distinctly Louisiana aesthetic suited to celebrations ranging from intimate gatherings to receptions of up to 300 guests. Weddings are the venue's specialty, and The Carriage House offers all-inclusive ceremony and reception packages that cover catering, wedding cakes, beverages, DJ service, and a staff coordinator. Indoor and outdoor event spaces allow ceremonies to take place beneath the gazebo or in the covered outdoor area, while the ballroom — featuring dramatic lighting and a staircase — serves receptions inside. Tables, chairs, and setup are included with rental. The Carriage House has served the greater Gonzales and Ascension Parish area for over 25 years, accommodating corporate picnics, company parties, and retreat and training events in addition to weddings.
