The Cheyenne Canon Inn

The Cheyenne Cañon Inn is a Mission-style historic mansion at the entrance to North Cheyenne Cañon in Colorado Springs. Originally named "Sunnycrest," the home was built by Lillian Casey beginning in 1918 and completed in 1921 — a striking example of the era's architecture that became a social landmark in its time. Over the decades the property served various purposes before John and Barbara Starr restored it to its lodging roots in 1993, giving it its current name. The inn is now operated by owner Jeannie Bryant, who has continued its tradition of hospitality while also making the property available as an event venue. The inn hosts weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, anniversary dinners, workshops, and musical concerts. Guests arrive to a setting framed by the red rocks of the canyon, where deer and birds gather daily and the grounds offer a natural complement to intimate gatherings.
