The Club at Shannondell

The Club at Shannondell is a public golf club near Valley Forge Park in Audubon, Pennsylvania, formerly known as General Washington Golf Course before a full renovation added a staffed pro shop, locker rooms, and Chadwick's Restaurant & Bar. The property pairs its golf course with a seasonal swim center and turnkey banquet facilities suited to weddings, rehearsal dinners, and receptions. The club's banquet space spans more than 3,000 square feet and accommodates up to 150 seated guests or 180 for standing receptions, with a private bridal room and a full slate of event planning support, from decor and floral coordination to music, photography, and audiovisual equipment. Outdoor ceremonies can take place on the property's manicured grounds and water features, with tented setups available for larger gatherings. Beyond weddings and receptions, the club regularly hosts corporate meetings, sales training, memorial services, bar and bat mitzvahs, baby showers, birthday parties, and anniversary celebrations, backed by in-house food and beverage service and tended bar stations.
