The Club at Sonterra is a private club in San Antonio's Stone Oak area, anchored by an 18-hole championship golf course alongside tennis and pickleball courts, a swim team and pool, and a wellness center with group fitness classes and massage therapy. Named Encore Leisure Group's 2025 Club of the Year, it's a genuinely family-friendly place, right down to its dedicated Kids Club.
As Stone Oak's exclusive wedding venue, The Club at Sonterra welcomes both members and non-members for celebrations of every kind, from traditional weddings and vow renewals to non-western ceremonies and LGBTQ+ unions. Its event rooms - the Grand Ballroom, Terrace Room, Horizon Room, Director's Room, and Governor's Room - are dressed with chandeliers and floor-to-ceiling windows, several opening onto patios with golf course views, and range from intimate meeting spaces to the Grand Ballroom's soaring 4,998 square feet, which seats up to 350 guests for a banquet. All-inclusive wedding packages include a full open bar, butlered hors d'oeuvres, and a seated gourmet meal, while the club's corporate and social event teams comfortably handle everything from 10-person meetings to 350-guest banquets. The Club at Sonterra has been honored with WeddingWire's Couples' Choice Award and The Knot's certification for its service.
