The Columbian Room in Wexford

The Camelot Event Center sits on a five-acre, tree-lined lot in Wexford, tucked away from the surrounding area for a private, sole-use setting — only one event is held per facility per day, so couples and hosts never share space, restrooms, or a soundtrack with another party. The venue's Main Ballroom spans 4,000 square feet and accommodates 70 to 225 guests, with large chandeliers, a wood dance floor, customizable colored lighting, and a subtly raised stage suited to head tables or presentations. For smaller gatherings and cocktail hours, the Lounge offers a more flexible 35-to-55-guest space with its own full-service bar and rich decor. Outdoor ceremonies and cocktail hours can also be held in the property's private, level, wooded grove, just steps from the reception space. Husband-and-wife team Ryan and Valerie Sarel now lead the venue, continuing its long history in the area. Chef Ryan, trained at the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute, oversees an onsite kitchen offering passed hors d'oeuvres, buffets, and sit-down dinners, while Valerie brings over a decade of event management experience to each celebration, from weddings to anniversaries, showers, and holiday parties.
